Resizing a too-large rough opening- door

Hi: One rough opening for door --out of about 15 framed when we had our house rebuilt-- is the wrong size. It measures 83" high by 28" wide. We plan to install a 24" bifold but the opening is too wide and high. Help!
What is the easiest way to resize the opening?
Is there a way to do it without reframing and then time-consuming small-piece drywalling?

install blocks around the rough frame to size the opening for a 1* jam frame for the bifold unit...Use long screws or nails to secure the blocks of wood...If casing is wide enough to cover blocks and sit on top of current drywall then no need to patch...

Need assistance with some interior doors

I have 3 interior doors that the faceplate doesnt quite line up with the latch. 2 of the doors the latch is about 1/4" too high and the other door the latch is about 1/4" too low. Other than that, the door closes fine, its not binding. One of the doors goes to the upstairs and now that my daughter is getting a bit older she will soon be able to just pull the door open so this is of concern. The screws in the hinges are all tight. I'm thinking this shouldnt be too hard to remedy but I just dont know where to begin.

Wrapping Windows

Help! I have just had replacement windows installed. I have had two people come out and check the way they are wrapped and both tell me that it is not wrapped around for a brick house, but the wrapping is left straight. My inlaws are arguing and telling me that they are not wrapped correctly. Please advise me where I can go to find out how a brick homes windows should be wrapped. Thanks.
