Repairing Wood Storm Windows On 100 Yr Old House

Hi,

Not sure if this goes in this forum but it seems to fit.

I am wondering about an exterior storm window that is rotting out on the bottom.

I heard somewhere that there is some type of filler or something that can be used to repair the wood.

Has anyone heard of this?

Thanks,

Jason

I would use the product shown in the lower right corner at this link. I've purchased at HD and Lowes. It is a two part product, easy to work with, sands well, holds paint....just good stuff. Make sure you've remove all the rot and that your have gotten down to good wood.

Good call, pgtek!

I've always thought that the Miniwax filler and Bondo are exactly the same thing. I've used both and, other than the label on the can, I cannot tell the difference.
