home depot windows

Are the stock windows at Home Depot a good value for cost, insulating value? I have old drafty windows and I am in need of new, but I just want good efficient windows not designer ones that will cost 10,000 to do my little house.

I finished off a three season porch with the American Craftsman windows (Home Depot's cheapest line). I was fine with them since I was not heating the space. Honestly, I would not consider using them in a heated space. I was not very impressed with the craftsmanship but you do get what you pay for. Windows are not something you want to cut corners on. I would recommend something of higher quality. You don't have to spend a lot on something like Anderson but there must be something inbetween the two. I'm currently debating between Anderson and Pella as the windows in my house need replacement.
