sliding glass doors
I recently had to remove a standard sliding glass door to correct water damage. I put the frame back in and squared the frame. Somehow i have gotten both doors out of plum, and now have large gaps on both sides. Can someone advise me how to adjust the doors to get them plum again.
Thanks

If a sliding door has a hump in the middle of the sill, when you slide the door almost closed, it will have a gap at the bottom. If the sill bows down, the gap will be at the top.
If the sill is perfectly straight and level, and the frame is square, it sounds like you probably just need to adjust the rollers. Usually all it takes is a long phillips screwdriver, and you adjust the screw on each wheel. If you're not sure how the rollers adjust, just pop out the sliding door, flip it over, and examine the rollers. (easier than laying on your stomach and squinting into a dark hole.)
