Interior Door Replacement

I'm replacing interior doors for a bedroom entry and closet with pre-hung doors. I've also removed all the drywall on the walls. Should the new pre-hung doors be installed before I put up the new drywall the walls? Or can the doors go in after the drywall's up?

It's usually best to put the doors in after the drywall is hung, taped and painted. That way you don't get anything on the door. Just make sure your rough opening is the right size and that the door will fit!

Thanks for the advice. Makes a lot of sense and I'll do it that way. Would you mind taking a look at my other thread (next to this one) titled, "Pre-hung Door Install." Thanks again.
