vertical blinds
I have vertical blinds that will not open and close with the string. There is a lot of slack in the string. What can I do to fix this problem?

The high end brand name products often use draw strings that are customed sized and thus next to impossible to replace without going to the blind dealer.
I suspect this also applys to tiny broken parts inside the blind hardware. Because of this, the high end brand dealers offer professional re-stringing of the blinds at the store.
