Can any one help me with this I have a bay window the has condensation between the panes. I finally found a mfg name on them and it is
TCSS/VWS Mfg Const. The windows were mfg in 1993
Does anyone know who this is and how I contact them. Any help would be apprieciated.

Very few window companies stand behind their IGU's for a period of more than 10 years, so in my opinion, finding the original manufacturer would be irrelevant. Any glass company will be able to replace your glass for you.

I'm not familiar with any of those abbreviations, although TCSS is similar in appearance to TC88, which is a Heat Mirror designation. Heat mirror glass is recognized by a 2 part divided spacer bar, and a small pin hole in one corner of the heat mirror film that is between the 2 panes of glass. Heat mirror is produced by many manufacturers around the country and is not specific to any one brand of window.

I'm sure you've checked everywhere, but look again on your aluminum spacer bar and double check each window to see if they say the same things. Also look on the casement hardware- cranks and locks. Crank the windows open and look for a sticker inside on top of the frame.

Again, the brand is likely irrelevant since they are 12+ years old, and unless you are the first owner of the windows, you can forget any warantee claims.

Thank you very much, I got that information off one of the stickers on the top of the window frame. I was afraid that it was past the warrentee. Thanks for your help. I will see if I can find someone to replace the glass.

If you happen to live in North Carolina, there is a company there named:

VWS CONSTRUCTION CO.
(252)-261-3872

Perhaps you are reading the label that lists who the window was manufactured and sold to. If so, they were probably the installers.

Lure,

"I will see if I can find someone to replace the glass."

ANY glass shop can measure the IG unit for you, order one and come and replace it once they receive it. And they can order it with whatever grids, coatings, etc. that the IG unit currently has so it will be an exact match. and if it happens to be the sash, so that you can remove it and take it to them for the meausring, and back again for the replacement, you'll save yourself enough money to treat the wife to a nice dinner.
