3 doors 1 entrance

I want to replace the three doors leading into the house. One from out side to the garage, one from the garage to the mudroom, and one from the mudroom to the house. None of those rooms are insulated and I want it to be cosmetically pleasing and insulating at the same time. since the only doo that really needs to be insulated is the one between the mudroom and the house what would you suggest for the other two. I mean the one from outside to the garage needs to be sofe and sturdy but not really insulatin g and the one from the garage to the mubroom is well not that important and could just be plain. Is there something I could get to make it a nice transition? I know this is a silly question but the whole house matches exept for those three doors that are just awfull and it's the fi8rts thing people see. tha house is a century home and I have upgraded it's charm. Please let me know what touch you would give it.

thanks in advance

I'd replace all three with the same basic kind of door. A prehung steel insulated door. The one seen from the exterior of the house, as you mentioned- everyone sees it- maybe you would want some fancy glass or something... perhaps leaded glass that people could not see through. You certainly don't need a window in the other two, but in my opinion, the half circle windows look nice in doors. If you will be seeing the one door from inside the house, it ought to be ascetically pleasing as well.

If your doors do not come painted, I've had good luck taking them to the local body shop and having them painted with automotive paint. They charge about $125 per door if you bring in 2 or more. They look flawless and you'll never have to paint them again. Heck, you can even wash and wax them if you like!

hahaha wash and wax the doors eh? lol Well that sounds like a good idea. I really want to make the entrance to the house pleasing and serene. I like to make a good impression and I often have company over and sometimes meetings in the house. Right now the house is just terrible. we just purchased it and it has not been done since the 50's everything is very welllll ugly. I really want something nice, The mudroom has cathedral ceilings so I want to realy work with that. The doors are important too because there are three in the mudroom. I did not metion the fourth because it leads to a back sotrage room. The mudroom is like a room of doors so I want them to work together. We'll see
