Hang new sliding screen door

I have a new sliding screen door to install. It came with two plastic pieces with ridge down center of each, 2 screws and a flat metal piece about 1 1/2" long. It also came with absolutely no instructions on what to do with these gizmos or how to hang the door. Help!

The plastic pieces might be top guides that simply pop into the groove at the top of the screen door. The metal piece with screws is the keeper for the lock. Take a look at this site for more help on installing. http://www.prime-line-products.com/howtoscreen4.asp

Leak over top of window

One of the windows in my basement (walk in) is letting water come over the top of the frame. I guess rain is rolling down the siding to the window frame then leaking over. What's the best way to fix this? Thanks! JoeRead More

Problem with hanging a double door

I am in the process of hanging a bouble prehung door with split jambs. everything was going good until I thought I was finished. I got the first side up (side with the doors) and tacked into place. the doors opened and closed ok. I then put second side up and screwed everything down. Now one side of the door will not close all the way. Is there a way to fix this without takeing it all the way down. ThanksRead More
