Replacing windows??
How difficult is it to replace old aluminium windows?
Do you have to be an expert? do you need a lot of tools?
What type of windows would you recommend?
I see all these advertising. 3000 dollars for 6 windows.(done in one day)
Is it serious? are the windows good quality?
I want to install (if I can) good quality windows that will stay for a long time.
Weather proof too.
Need some good advise.

There are thousands of windows to choose from, from junk to super good ones, and from dirt cheap to very expensive. Compare everything from frame construction to the glass used and how the glass (IG units) is sealed and the amount of space between the panes of the IG unit. And compare the warranties and who is backing them.
$3,000 for 6 windows? Depends on the size and location of the windows and where you're at. Get several bids.
Installation can be easy, or it can be difficult, depending on what old window
you are dealing with, what new window you are putting in, the siding on the house, and whether you are replacing or retrofitting the windows. And the best window, installed improperly, is going to give you endless problems.
