mail slot in door
I would like to install a mail slot for my front door. The door is metal and then behind it i beleive is foam. cover by another sheet of metal on the interior side. i havent seena mail slot at the local home depot. Any ideas where to purchase a mail slot or how to install it?

Go to a good hardware store or locksmith. Be very careful when cutting the hole for the mailslot. The metal is very thin and will bounce when the sawblade cuts through it.

Are you sure you want a mail slot? There's probably good reason for why you're having a hard time finding one.
My reason for why you might not want one:
Last Halloween, our neighbour's front entry got burned quite badly when some pranksters dropped fireworks thru the mail slot... Luckily they were home. Something to think about, anyway.
