Help! My door knobs turn very hard..need two hands

My door knobs turn very hard. I have to use two hands to turn them. If you don't turn them far enough to open the door it will spring back to the closed position.

Start by making sure that the latch is properly aligned with the strike plate. If it is, replace the entire lock set.

I would like to put dutch doors in my pet lodge but i dont want to buy new.Is it possible to make my own doors by cutting them in half? :thinker:

I need to make a decision as to what french doors to get to replace my exterior patio doors that have warped. I want to know if the quality differnece between precision entry doors (Which cost 4800 for a double door set) and pella (which is about 2400 installed for the same style) is really wort the cost. I don't plan on being in the house for a decade so I can't figure out if the pricey doors will actually save me any value in maintenance or reduced water damage. Please help advise me, I can't find any good information online.
