window replacement problem-Weathershield

In August it will be one year since we arranged for Weathershield to replace/install 28 windows with Visions 2000 in our home. We still cannot open all of our windows! They have replace windows, ordered new lower panes, reinstalled the same window....I am done. What do we do now? What should we include in our letter to cancel the contract and get our money back? Who else should we send a letter to besides BBB and registar of contractors? Is it possible to do this without a lawyer? Who should we get to replace the windows? Thank you for any help....tired1

Most window problems (I would estimate way over 80%) are installation related.
Did weathershield do the install? Or was it an outside contractor?
It can make a difference.
Have you had folks from Wethershield come visit your home? or were the folks inspecting the work from an outside source?

Weather Shield did the install so I do not have as much finger pointing. In January Weather Shield changed their product between the window panes so now I have a mix of product and they have been cutting window panes out to replace just the glass on some windows. I am embarrassed that we are coming up on a year, I was far to trusting.

I was able to contact the regional director for WS. He has emailed and called, he was unaware of the situation. He will be coming to our home and promises it will be resolved to our satisfaction. I hope to have a positive up date soon!

Weather Shield have agreed to a full refund. We hope to have legal paperwork and check exchanged soon.
