Identical to cdcsboy

I have almost an identical situation to the pictures posted by csdsboy a couple of posts earlier. I have brick at the window base instead of concrete.

I will look forward to that reply but I have additional questions
I am strongly considering the pella thermastar for name / warranty and price.
My problem is with the installation, It gives the appearance of bait and switch.
I was quoted a price for the windows and basic installation but when I got serious about moving forward they added $60 per window (@10 - $600) for vinyl flashing on the outside.
My thought was that I would finish with brick mold myself and save around
$500. they said I will not have anything to attach the molding to after the window is installed (I will have around 3/8" gap at the sides and top). I will only have brick on the sides - the top should not be a problem.

Based on csdsboy pictures:
Questions -
Is $60 per window ridiculus?

Should they be able to finish sealing the window without the trim work on the outside? My concern here is whether they can stand behind the installation if they leave the outside trim unfinished.

Any thoughts on how to install the brick molding?

Your help is always appreciated
Jeff

We charge $80 an opening to clad exterior trim. You're getting a bargain, and it's not bait and switch. They could certainly leave you to handle the problem of covering the outside if you like.
