Question Standard Window Size Chart...Is there such a thing?

Greetings,

I have searched the 'Net and this site for a chart that has "Standard" window sizes with no luck. Is there such a thing?

The reason I am wanting this is that we are remodeling our 1959 cottage and want to put in larger windows in some rooms. To save money, I want to be able to put in standard sized windows in the rooms, so that we do not have to go to the trouble/expense of having custom sized made.

Help?

Thanks,
RhainyC

Go to Lowes and Homedepot and pickup window literature from a few manufacturers. They each have there own lineup of sizes, some are close, some aren't. You can look at each window manufacturer online for size details too.

Much Thanks! :)

I will have to do the trip to Lowe's and Home Depot in town this next week, since I am planning on trying to get at least one or two windows done before winter sets in.

Thanks for the tips!

Best Regards,
RhainyC
