Looking for "budget" windows (online?)
I have a small house that I would like to replace my current aluminum windows in. The house was built ~1983.
After pricing out the Home Depot and Lowes windows at about $1500 for a full replacement (including sliding glass door), I got to wondering if there were places on the internet that I could also check for pricing to make sure I'm getting the best deal.
I'm not looking for high end windows, just some that are "OK" and budget friendly, so www.MarvinWindows.Com won't do me much good
Most of the sites I've checked so far (like jeld-wen, etc) have window examples on their sites, but obviously aren't set up to sell to Joe-consumer like myself.
Any advice appreciated!

Just a suggestion...
I am looking into doing the exact same thing, and I ended up deciding that since I didn't want to lay out the whole amount in one chunk, we are going to replace them one/two at a time. I went to a smaller local lumber company, with my rough opening measuerments and they ended up beating the big home improvement stores by quite a nice amount, on a per window basis.
You may want to do the same thing. We are going to be installing ours ourself, so my first stop was the big places just to see what sizes/prices/quality they offered.
Hope this helps,
