Moisture between insulated window panes

I have what appears to be condensation between the insulated panes of a picture window. Can this be cleaned or does the window or glass have to be replaced?

Not as difficult as it sounds. If it's the sash (the 1/2 that slices), take it to a glass shop and have them measure it and order you a new one. If it's the stationary 1/2, have them come out and measure it. Takes about a week to get an IG unit. They are made to size -- width, height and overall THICKNESS.

Is there any manufacture which directly sells double-pane thermal window repalcement (just the glass part) to home owners? Can you provide any name and/or contact info?
Many thanks.

lfjiang,

No. These IG units are made to order. Width, height, thickness, plus all of the various options like Low-E glass, grids, etc., etc.

A mfgr. isn't going to mess with a homeowner ordering ONE IG unit. They will deal with a glass shop which orders several at a time, 30 or 40 a month, consistantly.

What brand of windows are they? How old? The glass usually carries a warranty (parts only) if they are less than20 years old.
