cant find handles for thin door
hello all. i have an old exterior door that is about 1 1/16 inches wide. my problem is that all the schlage door handle sets are too wide for the door (standard 1 3/8 in.) Anyone know where i can special order such handles on the web or any other suggestions??thanks

Replace the door.
Trying to find a lockset that will fit it is going to take time. And, if you DO find the lockset, it'll cost at least as much as the new door will.

Are you saying the door is not thick enough?
If so... check out the possibility of cutting down the main shaft of the lockset to allow a decent fit.
If not... get creative... decorative blocks typically used for trim/molding could be adapted to give you some depth to the door.
Necessity being the mother of invention......
