Basement window broke - How to replace?

Hey guys, this window was cracked and now is broken. May be a stupid question but how do i replace teh glass?

Is there a way to cut it out and get an exact size cut at home depot or something?

That window has a piece single strength window glass held in with glazing points and compound. I don't think HD sells glass. Go to your local glass shop or hardware store. Remove all the glazing compound using a chisel, remove the points (diamond shaped metal pieces), remove the glass and measure the opening then deduct 1/16" to 1/8" in W & H. Go get your glass, glazing push points (easy to use), and a pint of glazing compound. If you have a local glass shop or hardware that does it, then bring it in. It's not worth it for you to do it!!!

Thanks Johnam,

I will check with a local glass shop as I would much rather have them replace it than do it myself, sounds like a pita.

Thanks again! I need to get this puppy in before she gets much colder!
