Replacing picture windows with broken seals
I have three double paned, argon filled, picture window set in wooden frames (eight year old house). The seals have broken in all three, and now there is ugly condensation.
I know that one option would be to replace with new vinyl window.
However, is it possible to have a glass company simply replace the double pain, argon filled, glass unit and keep the wooden frame?
Thank you for your help.

The simple answer is yes, you can replace the insulating glass units. If the wood frames are not in good condition, it might be worth replacing the picture windows with vinyl frames.

Thank you.
I really appreciate your prompt answer. Just two more quick questions if you don't mind:
Would the glass company install the new panes from the outside or inside? Would I be able to upgrade to a better glass that would not let as much heat in?
Thanks again.

If the removable molding is on the outside then the glass is replaced from the outside and yes you can upgrade to whatever options are available.
