Thanks in advance for any help on this issue! My husband installed ceramic tile in our bathroom as well as a base trim. Now our linen closet bifold door won't shut (because the base trim is in the way). He thinks we should cut a chunk or notch out of the bottom of the door so the door will close but I think that will look unsightly. I thought that we should trim the door completely all the way up and down but he says there will be a large gap between the wall and the door (about an inch). He thinks the cut will be ugly as well. We don't know where to go from here, all doors seem to be a standard size width. Thanks for any insight!

I'm having trouble getting a bathroom door to close properly and am hoping for some suggestions on fixing it or finding a replacement. The door is clearly twisted: if you lay it flat on the floor two opposite corners will be up while the other opposite corners will be down. This is an old solid wood door with two panels and glass doorknobs on a steel frame. In the summer the door is straight enough to be useable, though still twisted. In the winter, it is twisted enough to be very difficult to latch and unlatch (although it does close square in the frame without catching anywhere). Presumably this is due to moisture from the shower, so do you have any ideas on straightening it and keeping it straight? If not, any idea how to go about finding a replacement door? I haven't seen anything like it at Home Depot.
