Ellison windows

Does anyone have any experience with Ellison vinyl windows? I'm planning a room addition this spring and will hire a contractor for the framing, windows, doors, etc. His standard offering on the windows is Ellison. I've never heard of them and can't find much information about them. Any comments, good or bad, would be appreciated.

I've used them, they are average vinyl windows. They are a little "boxy" looking compared to others.

Angry Ellison windows

A bit late for a reply but here goes anyway. Our house was finished being built in 2004 and has Ellison windows. Whenever rain doesn't fall in a straight downpour, water comes through these windows and sits on my wood windowsills. My builder came out and said it was because the outside sill of the window was dirty and causing the water to pool. I say thats a bunch of crap..... no window especially ones this new should leak and we also had water coming thru a doorknob. We are still trying to get remediation so does anyone know the home address of Ellison??

I may have just found it after endless googling. They don't want you to find them, do they? All I wanted to do was get a better view of a patio door that their website shows in drawing form, not photo. Because the only contacts given by the website are for suppliers, and suppliers deal only with contractors, I couldn't figure out how I was going to see this door. Still haven't. . . . Anyway, I found this at http://www.aecdaily.com/en/199290:

P.O. Box 1869
Welcome, NC 27374

Phone: 336-731-6877

Good luck.

Ellison Windows

Has anyone had experience with Ellison Windows. The contractor I met with wants to install these. He said they are one of the only windows that comes brown exterior and white interior. I have not been able to find much about them on the web which makes me hesitant.

Anyone have anything to report?

Ellison Windows

I am located in CT.

I couldn't find any information on Ellison which concerns me. I think Harvey does a brown / white but it is much more expensive. I guess you get what you pay for.
