Sliding barn door question
We are installing a single 36" wide french door and want to hang it in a sliding barn door fashion. We have already shopped and think we found everything we need. Can someone look at our list and let us know if we need anything else before we place the order? Thanks!

2. (1) left fixed bracket # 0306126
3. (1) right fixed bracket # 3800616

I think you have a good list, but how are you going to seal this door to keep the wind and weather out? Does your list contain the bottom bracket with the roller wheel to keep it from flopping outward?
I have two 6' roller doors on my shop, and I have cam locks to pull the doors snugly against the building, with a similar locking mechanism to keep the two doors closed against each other.

sliding door
hi and thanks for your reply. This door is for an indoor space so we dont need to insulate it. i believe the stay roller is what we need to keep it against the wall.
thanks again, Hayley

I'm glad it's an inside door. Oddly, I just removed one from a cabin here in the mountains, and reinstalled it on their patio with the original hardware, etc. for her to hang planters, pictures, etc. on. Looks good. It was an original barn door, so the wood was old and the nails were clinched over on the back side. Good luck with your project. Bet it will look good.
