Unhappy Need help replacing screen in double pane window.

I bought a house a few years ago and the double pane window in the living room was missing. Recently, I found the screen and short of bending it, how do I get it into the frame? Is there anything I need to remove? It came out, so I figure it must go back in.

The screen will probably be installed from the inside, not the outside. If the window tilts, release the tilting mechanisms and tilt it back and rest it on your chest. Slide the screen down into the groove at the bottom, and up into the one at the top. It should be spring loaded at the bottom to allow for this. Then, reinstall the window and there you go!!

Most double hung windows have half screens. In this case the springs would be on one side. Push the spring side into the track and then have the other side drop into the other track.
