Garage Door to house not matching others, OK?

I am building a new home and all my interior doors are going to be MDF doors with two panels and the top being arched. However, the manufacture does not have a fire rated door that will match my other doors. What should I do? Does this door need to be steel? Is it ok just to use a fire-rated jamb and use a MDF door? Otherwise, I will have a six panel door to the garage that looks different from the others. Any opinions?

Fire protection is more important than what others think about your door design. If they say something bad about the door design, well....you've already shown them the door, activate it. You will not notice the garage door design in time.

I consider the door to the garage an outside door and having outside doors not match interior doors is common and no big deal.

Code approval

What's important is that your door passes inspection with the local building authorities. A call to them might convince you that look is subordinate to function here.
