I was just wondering if there ae any places that specialize in custom window boards?
Any online etailer that I could send my measurements to?

Guesses

My best guesses are window stools, shutters (actually I wouldn't have thought of that one thanx XS), jamb extensions, mull trim, grilles/muntins, interior casing, or exterior flat casing.

Doors, Skylights and Windows
Advice on doors and windows

I was hoping someone might be able to offer some advice on what to look for in doors and windows. I am in the process of having a new home built and am not too versed on what features are important. I know the windows are insulated, 100% vinyl, thermopane, maintenance free, windows (low E glass filled w/argon gas for high insulating value). The doors are insulated steel, energy efficient, solid, 6-panel entry doors. The garage door is steel, 2-car, insulated garage door w/32 raised panels. Should I look into upgrading any of these? Thanks!

Kitchen window/farm house?

I have a 4 room framed farm house built in late 30's remodled by me last 3 months. :thinker: I'm having a lot of trouble finding a kitchen window that adds something to the kitchen and house if possible. Dont want a bay , I never really liked em anyway. All the choices Ive seen at HP & LOw just look like a window and add nothing to the house. Does anyone get what i'm trying to describe? :confused: Thanks Jim123
