skewed doors
Almost all of the doors in my house have become skewed, and some to the point where I have to play with it a little to lock because the strike is misaligned. Should I be concerned? What can I do if anything?

How old is the house and is it sitting on piers, floor supports, full basement, etc.? Sounds like the support structure beneath the main house is sagging. Misaligned doors is the first sign.

Depending on how the lock is misaligned... (Is there a tapered "reveal" along the top of the door when it's closed, or is that reveal fairly straight? Do you have to push the door in real hard, or do you have to lift up the handle slightly?) You might be able to either put a 3" long screw in the top hinge and pull the door frame in slightly (raising the door). If you have to push on the door real hard to get the door latched, you might need to tap the door stop over slightly on that side of the door.

The misaligned doors are an INDICATION of your problems, not the problem itself. Start in the basement with a really good LONG level, or better yet, a string. Look at the floor joists (the basement's ceiling joists) and determine what is sagging, where, and how much.
It may be that you will have to jack up those joists and resupport them. It's really a job best left to a pro.
