Low E Repair

I have a broken outer payne on my low e window. Can these be repaired at a reasonable cost or am i looking at a new window.I also have moisture in between some of the paynesCan these also be fixed ?

You must replace the entire Insulating Glass Unit. Your local glass shop is the place to go.

The entire insulating glass unit will need to be replaced if the outer pane is broke. There are some manufacturers that make their windows in such a way that not only is the glass replaced, but also the sash, but not the frame. Moisture in between the glass indicates that the seal is shot and the glass would need to be replaced in those as well.

I have 3 48 X 60 wood dindows in my front room that need replacing. I want to put in horizontal sliding vinal windows in. What can i ecpect to pay for a decent window installation. No bells and whistles neede, just a good window that will last.

I'm asking for suggestions/opinions on installing Air Conditioners in my double hung 36"x36" vinyl windows. The units are around 60-65 pounds,10k btu. I am uneasy about just resting the units on the vinyl sashes. Anybody have any thoughts on this ? Thanks
