If you are looking for replacement windows why not consider doing them yourself? Replacement windows simply fit inside the existing jamb. They can be replaced by simply removing the old windows and inside casing, slide in the new one add caulk and recase the window. I did 17 in my daughters house in a couple of days. I had never done it before and it ended up a piece of cake.

New construction windows are a different matter, They are designed to be installed from the outside into a rough opening. They typically require some siding removal, rip out of the existing jambs, recasing and staging for anything more than a few feet off the ground.

window installers

Being new to this area I really don't know anyone well enough to help me with replacing 9 old aluminum windows with vinyl at this time.I did help my son-in-law with his and it did take another person to hold the window in place for shimmimg and installing.I am just not sure about taking on this project alone. Thanks for the reply.

Do you already have the windows or are you looking for the complete package?
