Replacing Door Sill
The wood has both split and pulled up from the concrete that it was attached to (with concrete anchors). I am ready to replace the sill but am wondering if an adhesive of some sort between the wood and the concrete plus the Tapcon anchor screws is a solution. My assumption is that I would be creating a bigger problem the next time I need to replace the sill.
Any thoughts?

I can only tell you what I did. I am sure other pros will have a recommendation. I had the same problem and used Oak which I stained first, then used a silicon caulk under it, then countersank 2 holes that would fit the heads of the tapcons. Then I filled the tapcon holes with wood putty and applied a few spots of stain them. It turned out great.
