If you have a standard size storm door - it may be more economical to replace the door (~$100). If it's a custom size (~$250 and up) - you have few options: 1) live with the dent; 2) take the door apart and see if you can straighten the dent with the wooden block or rubber mallet; 3) cosmetically cover the dent; 4) order new door. W/o seeing the dent it is hard to be more specific.

The bottom aluminum kickplate is difficult to remove and replace. The kickplate fits into a groove that's only 3/16" deep and glued or caulked to make it watertight. If the dent can be flattened, do it without removing the kickplate.

You'll have to remove the door along with buck on the hinge side then remove the screws on the R & L bottom of the side rails which will allow the bottom rail of the door to be removed. Hopefully the edges of the kickplate are not distorted. You can now slip the kickplate into the groove and replace the bottom rail.
