stripped metal door hinge

I really don't want to have to replace my front storm door, but I am having a problem trying to fix stripped screw holes in the door.

The screw holes in the actual door are completely stripped and I cannot attach a hinge from the jam to the door. I know with wood I could easily use toothpicks or something to create new threads but what works with metal?

The hinge is usually screwed into the edge of the door with #8 sheet metal screws. Replace the screws with #10's.

New construction vs replacement windows

I want to use Marvin Integrity double hungs to replace my current windows (reasons: style and cost vs replacement). The house is brick. Windows measure: 40 x 42 1/4 brick to brick. Marvin has an Integrity 3840 measuring: Masonry: 38 x 40 Rough: 38 1/2 x 40 1/4 Frame: 37 1/2 x 39 1/4 Will this work or am I in for trouble at installation time? Thanks, Al

Replacement Window/ Attic fan

I have new Andersen renewal windows in my attic, and need to replace the power vent fan. Previously, it sat attached to a crude plywood frame in the upper section of the double hung window. How can I get it back into the same position without damaging the new window frame? Are there products out there that are adjustable to fill the space, similar to framing used with window unit AC's?
