Outswing French Door with Brick Exterior

We are installing an outswing french door in a new home. The door opens to a porch area. The wall has a brick exterior. I've discovered that these doors will only be able to open about 90 degrees before the face of the door hits the brick edge. That's because the door is inset, being installed on the outer face of the 2x4 stud wall. The doors are Marvins which are specifically made to be outswings. Is there a better way to do this, or don't outswings and brick exteriors mix well? At this point, the only option I can think of is to install door stop bumpers on the porch to prevent damage to the door.

I've run into it several times on punch out, and the door stop on the floor is the best solution. Even if the outswing made it to 180 degrees, they will hit the light fixture, so a door stop is imperative in any event.
