Dog sratched, damaged door
My dog has constantly scratched our wooden door, what the best way to say sand it down as some of the scrathes are quite deep? I need to get back to an even surface. Any advice?

Is the door stained or painted?
A painted door is realitvely easy to fix. You can fill in the grooves with spackling, sand, prime and paint. If you need a more durable patch [if you still have dog
] use durhams rock hard putty - apply carefully as it is a bear to sand
A stained/natural door is a lot harder [if possible] to repair. The light scratches will probably sand out but it is doubtfull you can sand out the deep ones. There are various wood fillers you can fill the deep grooves with but they are hard to stain [to match]
