Welcome to the forums. Basically you will need to frame up the openings to accept the new windows. Of course this will entail interior finishing as well as exterior treatment, and insulation. Determine where you want the bottom of the windows to land, build knee walls. Are the windows you have in mind new construction with nailing flanges, or replacement type windows? It would be best to create a rough opening 2 inches wider than the overall window width, and 2 inches higher than the height. Then case the RO with 1x lumber to allow for external and interior trim molding attachment if required.
Good luck and post back if we can help further.
