Screen Options between door/secuirity door
I have an urban patio entrance that has outward opening french iron security doors and inward opening wood-framed, paned glass french doors. I'm trying to come up with screening solutions.
Option 1: somehow screen over the existing security doors. The doors do not have top or bottom bars, so I would have to somehow fasion those. Also, I would need to figure out a way for the doors to latch when we're coming in and out. Currently they only latch by deadbolt
Option 2: Install a sliding screen door system between the two sets of doors. How wide would the space between the doors have to be? How difficult would this be for a first timer?
Option 3: Since we rarely use the left-hand interior door (and corresponding security door) we could put a stationary screen on the left and a door that swings outward on the right. Again, how wide would the space between the doors have to be? How difficult would this be for a first timer?
Does anyone have ideas where I can read up on my solutions or suggestions for other options?

Since they are hinged doors, you can use 2 sliding screen doors or 1 door if it can make a seal in the center of the hinged doors. Either way it would require tracks and custom screen doors. To determine the amount of space need, you have to see if you can get a screen in and out from the outside. This is a job that you should leave to someone in the screen business.
