replacing windows in masonry

Old 50's era house, block construction. The windows are steel casement, there is no ridge or flange in the openings so I am wondering how they are mounted and how can they be removed?

Hi,I did a job some years ago the building was three stories high. A concrete building. We cut the old frames with a sawsall.
I used anchors to mount the new windows to the building. The windows had no nailing flanges or Z bar that fit on the outside of the building, they were mounted about center line of the wall. We shimmed and caulked in place and put screws through the styles into the anchors. Go to a big box store and get some booklets they give away, I'm sure you can find what you're looking for.
