storm window advice

We're looking for any buying advice you have to share about aluminum storm windows. They'll be installed on our 85yr old Dutch colonial.

mitered joints vs. butt joints
triple track vs. double
oven baked polyester vs. oven baked enamel
good east coast supplier/ manufacturer

Our local suppliers offer two manufacturers... (1) a sub standard, bulky product and (2) SugarCreek Industries:

We've read that butt joints are better, but then found that the more expensive products have mitered.... a bit confusing. Wouldn't you pay more for quality?

Thanks in Advance ;-)

Butt joint is better for strength and air infiltration. Triple track for ease of operation and sash removal.
