There are a few different types of pocket door attachment methods, and I will try to give you a starting point. Across the top of the opening there is a trim piece that hides the trolleys. The trolleys are the rollers that are attached to the top of the door. Once this trim piece is removed, as well as the side trim where it slides into the wall, you will have to release the trolley from the door. This is done, like I said in a few ways. Sometimes there is a button you push to release it, and sometimes there is a lever that you have to push on to release it. It will be a matter of exploratory surgery at this point. Once the door is released, remove the plates on top of the door and install them in the same location on the new door and replace the door by pressing up on the door engaging the plates and the trolley. If you have to adjust the door height, use a small wrench on the nut on the trolley. Replace the trim.
Hope this wasn't too detailed. If you need more help, please post back, and BTW, welcome to the forums!!
