Removing screen sash from exterior storm aluminum triple track frame

Please advise how I accomplish this. The sash slides up and down. There is a small approx. 1 inch discontinuity midway up the interior "rail" of 1 of the 2 vertical "tracks" in which the screen sash rides; this opening somehow is used, I imagine, in the removal the sash, but I can't understand how. Any advice appreciated. Carl

You usually have to remove the interior storm sashes in order to get the screen out.

To do this, push both locking tabs toward the center and raise the sash about halfway while slightly pulling toward you. There are often 2 tabs in the center of each sash that, once they reach a slot in the frame, it will allow the sash to come out toward you. Once you have those tabs out, you lower the top portion until it also comes out that slot. You do the same thing for the remaining sashes.
