Wink Pocket door

I have a pocket door that is driving me nuts. It has come off the track and for the life of me don't know how to fix. I have already removed the moulding around the opening. Can anyone tell me how to do this. Thanks much.

There are a couple of different mounting types, so I will try to get you started. The clips mounted on top of your door will slip under the spring washer of the trolleys. Did the door come off both trolleys or just one, and which one? Do you have a single sided two wheel trolley or a double sided three wheel trolley? The adjustment nut, which is usually on top of the trolley must be adjusted with a wrench, usually 7/16" to obtain, not only the correct height, but the correct attitude toward the closing jamb. Post back if we can help further on it.

Red face Pocket door

Hi...Ok what i have is a three wheel trolly. The door still rolls back...the front trolly came unscrewed. My problem is getting to the nut to tighten it. I have small hands and I still am having trouble. Please if you tell me the steps to fix this beast. Thank you

Be thankful for small hands. You could be cursed with hands the size of a truck. Makes it difficult to get into tight places. Pocket door wrenches are usually 7/16" on one end and bent at a slight angle to facilitate reaching up into the area to tighten the nut. You may be able to find one in the section that has spare door parts, right next to the pocket door frames at the orange big box store, or at your hardware store.

I too have a pocket door to fix - it is hanging from the front mount only, seems the back one is off track. We have a "J" shaped track that the two slides hang from, but I can't seem to get the door to pop back on... Am I going to have to knock out the drywall to get to the rear hardware? My door hangs out 5" at the bottom when open due to the rear mount being off track!

Can you release the door from the front mount? If so, remove the entire door once it drops down enough to clear the opening. You will have to do this at an angle. Once the door is partially removed, you should be able to see the rear trolley and should be able to pop it back on the track. Slide it back into the opening and follow it with the front trolley, attaching the door back to it. Post back if we can help further.
