whats the best way to install them...any tips or tricks?? Keep the door in the frame, then hang it? or is it easier to take the door off first? I put one in yesterday and had a heck of a time getting it to fit properly, just would like to know if I'm forgetting something.

We have a mid fifties home that has some modern leanings, and I'm planning on replacing the ill fitting and tired entry doors. Problem is I detest 99% of any design I find at a reasonable price. We just want something simple. No Spanish castle gate wrought iron, No arched beveled glass kaleidoscope, No six panel stamped. Just simple. I'd like a basic steel door with perhaps a one light offset wire safety glass insert. Are there any sources for these more commercial style doors that I could use for an entry, and/or an attached garage (fire rated) entry door. I have had very little luck with searches, and local vendors. On the opposite end of the spectrum, Neoporte modern stainless steel doors are out of our league, and I don't like them anyway because they are too flashy.
