How to make an awning window

How would i be able to construct an awning window.

In my home, in one room i would like to have an awning window on top and
a smaller hopper window on bottom(awning=pushes outward, hopper= pulls inward, right?)

i have a 52" length x 28" width window frame(apprx.)
I am planning to have a 37" length awning window and a 13"-14" hopper window(leaving an inch or two of metal or hardware to have windows lock to.

When i say amking an awning window, i do not mean the newer ones with
the crank mechanism that breaks easier than an egg, i mean the simple
sturdy ones where you twist the lock and push outwards and pull back
inwards to close or only leave open a little.

Do they make screens for push out awning windows? can someone tell me
what they look like and give me a weblink, and would i be fine getting a way
with a cheap basement hopper screen for the hopper window and just
attaching it someway? thankss

A custom mill-work can probably make what you're looking for but I'm sure the price will shock you. It seems that you're only concern about going with "newer windows" is the hardware. Most window made today use good quality "Truth" hardware. If you're still concerned, buy and extra set of hardware and you'll be saving a lot of money.

i dont want to buy a window..when i can make one.
I wasn't sure if plexiglass could be used for windows because it is supposedly
lighter, and the manufacturer said it can be used for house windows, etc.

i currently have some new construction windows and i can just pull the sashes out and use the track for the awning and hopper windows to glide along. I think i will just get 2 pieces of plexiglass, 2 strong sturdy thinner metal bars to attach to the window and then to the casing/track, make those
screws/bolts/attachments very tight, and have the track tighter with maybe
a space block, so the window can mostly be pushed out or pulled in at almost
any distance.(If bolts and track weren't as tight, i'm assuming then the
window would fall back shut. Then use one of those multi-point locking handles to turn the handle and lock and unlock. Mostly same principle probably will apply to the hopper style windows.

*I just like awning windows sometimes because they're different in which
they can stay open with stormy weather/rainy precipitation.

thanks.

Please don't take this the wrong way but, if you can make a window, why not make a screen. Hinge it at the top and let it swing in! then you could get to the window to push out.

yeah actually you know what..i was thinking about that..
and i have actually seen that before..

they make aluminum or wooden framed screens right?

like sold at big box stores, and then i could screw 2 hinges to it

and even a knob for added convenience to pull the screen open.

Thanks!!!
