Unhappy Door won't stay open- used lubricant on hinges

My door was squeaky, so I used WD 40 on the hinges. Now it won't stay open. What can I do?

This is an easy fix. take the hinge pins out one at a time. Lay the pin down on a concrete floor (or anvil if you have one). Give each pin a good blow with a hammer in the middle of the pin. This makes a slight curve in the pin. Replace the hinge pins and you are good to go. The bend in the pin creates extra friction which usually will hold the door in the open position.
