hi All
I have a florida room and the windows are aluminium but the insert of the windows are some king of plastic film
there held in place by a spline like the ones on a screen.
where can i buy this plastic window stuff

My guess: it's polycarbonate sheet. This is also known as LEXAN. Impact resistance is a quality of polycarbonate. It's available from many sources. Any plastics supply house; some major national hardware chain stores; greenhouse supply warehouses.
Another guess would be Mylar. This is sometimes called greenhouse plastic. It's more UV stable than polycarbonate. Similar sources.
