Anderson window
Hi,
I have an Anderson double hung window in my powder room. Ths bottom sash no longer stays up by itself. Is there a spring on the inside or some thing that can be replaced to hold this sash up? Thanks for any and all help.

There is a balance that helps support the sashes. They doe break and/or wear out. Check the Andersen web page for local contractors or places where you can order/buy parts. If the window is less than 10 yrs that part is under warranty, if not, it is still available, and not expensive.
