Front Door window help!

Hi I live in a condo unit that has an exterior door that has a stanley sticker on it. The door has a top half of glass with the criss cross going through it (#). It looks like a two piece plastic part that screws together from the inside. I was wondering how I can go about getting a replacement for this plastic piece since it has since broken. The only other numbers I see on the door is 980380501 and 28915. I am not sure if either of those numbers are helpful with identifiying the door. It has a total of 9 squares on the plastic piece.

Please help!

Thanks

Welcome to the forums! Check with a local mill work shop. They can probably order it for you. Give them the correct door width so they can order the right one. I have one locally that has ordered one for me in the past, so I know it can be done.

Stanley has been bought out by Masonite, but they should be able to help you with a local source for the grid. Check their website.

Those grids can be bought at most any good Home Improvement Store. I just ordered 2 of them today. They can be replaced very eaasily. Just measure your window and off to the store you go. Have Fun

Thanks everyone.. I previously contacted stanley who referred me to Masonite. Masonie just seems to be useless to me for information and unwilling to help. I checked with Home Depot and they state that I would either have to check with the manufacturer or buy a new door.. (brilliant answer huh..) anyways what is the proper name for this piece so at least its clear of what I am asking for..

Jack, do you mind letting me know roughly what you paid? These pieces are just plastic so I can't imagine it costing much.

Thanks!

I recently had a customer buy a door window grid on line, for a peachtree door, I think her cost was $69.

Could you recommend or tell me where she bought it?
