Dog Door In Window?

Does anyone have any ideas on how to frame a regular dog door into a window? The ones built for windows are very expensive and I already own this one. I think I'm going to experiment this weekend and try to get it to work. Any advice would be great.

IF IT'S GLAZED STOP!
The glazing should be safety glass. You cannot cut it. If it's not safety glass, you're asking for bloody trouble. Do you like your dog, or are you mad at it?

If it's not glazed, use a plywood filler.

Never heard of putting a dog door in a window. Door, yes, but window, how does he/she get up there, and how far is it to the ground?
