Bypass doors installation

I am attempting to install the door guides at the bottom of two bypass doors to a closet. Are there guides which attach only to the carpet in some manner, or does the guide have to be attached to the floor? The carpet is on a cement slab and I don't know if I have to drill holes in the slab and put lead inserts to screw the guides in. Thanks for any comments.

Drill the holes with a masonry bit and put plastic anchors in the holes for the screws to hold. Be very careful drilling the holes since the bit will grab the carpet fibers. Make a hole in the rug first with a large nail.
