Pocket Door stuck on the bottom

I had new carpet installed - the pocket door now seems stuck on the botom. I try to pull the door - the top seems to move but the bottom sticks in the wall. I have checked to see if there is something blocking the bottom but there doesn't seem to be. How can I fix this? Would appreciate any ideas.

Is there, was there, a little plactic 'glide/guide' at the opening of the pocket @ the floor? Is it entact?
Was there baseboard attached to the wall of the pocket..and reinstalled with a longer nail than b4? (That could do it).
Is the door dragging on the carpet? - perhaps on 1 side..
If so, you can raise the door by the rollers at the top of the door...normally there's an adjustment screw or nut that can be turned. Often you need a pretty flat wrench to get in there as space is tight...!

Stuck Pocket door

Yes there is a plastic guide at the bottom - it looks the same as the other two pocket doors that are working fine however there was a finish nail holding it in - I need to look a little more at that - the door clears the carpet when I can pull it.

Thanks for the response - I am a little tired of it not closing.

And it could be that the pocket door needs to be cut shorter if you can't raise it any higher by adjusting it on top. Surely it wasn't nailed open by a finish carpenter? (Not that I've ever done that before!)

HI,
Check and see if the door rollers are off the track.
